‘Spiritual Direction’ is a specialisation of Roy’s Retreat and is designed as follow up from Retreats or other general Spiritual Direction requests. We are trained in Ignatian Spiritual Direction and are members of the International Ecumenical Spiritual Directors Association and the S.A. Ecumenical Spiritual Directors Association.

‘Contemplative Prayer Classes’ are available for those spiritual seekers who want to learn more about the rich contemplative prayer tradition within Christianity. Classes are usually one hour and include both teaching and an opportunity to experience the area of contemplative prayer you are interested in exploring. The three forms of ‘Contemplative Prayer’ taught at Roy’s Retreat are ‘Christian Meditation’, ‘Centering Prayer’ and ‘Lectio Devina’ – you can attend a class in one, or all three of these methods of contemplative prayer. You may register for one session or as many as you feel drawn to do.
